I think one very important thing you all need to know about me sooner rather than later is that I love Taylor Swift. I loved her before she was loved by everyone, and before screaming teenagers followed her around everywhere and before she went on tour. I loved her from the very first time I heard “Tim McGraw”. (That song will always be my favorite Taylor Swift song, and will always hold a special place in my heart, because it introduced me to Taylor.) I loved her when I saw her for the first time in person opening for Rascal Flatts, and the most recent time I saw her on the Speak Now tour in her sparkly dresses which I relate to and love so much. I have loved her from day 1 of hearing her, and I am proud to call myself a Swifty.
I saw an interview with some music or news guy somewhere on some channel at some time where he said that if Taylor Swift wasn’t a super cute, young, blonde girl, worshiped by preteens everywhere, that she would be considered a truly great song-writer. I totally agree. It is undeniable that the girl’s got talent and that she knows what she’ doing. UNDENIABLE. Please, just try to deny it. I dare you. I’ll delete your comment so quick! (I don’t take kindly to Taylor Swift-bashers. Haha. I don’t insult your music or trash-talk your artists, and my musical interest has no impact on you whatsoever, so let me be.) 🙂 Her music will grow and mature as she grows and matures, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
ANYWAY – I’M GOING TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT TOMORROW! It will be my 4th meeting with Tay Swift in concert. My mom, my sister, my grandmother, and I are making the trek up to New York City to see Newsies on Broadway tomorrow night, followed by the main attraction (for me, anyway), Taylor Swift, on Saturday night. Yes, I am driving across several state lines to make it to a Taylor Swift concert. It is out of my control though – My cousin got married the weekend Taylor Swift is in D.C., forcing me to find another concert elsewhere that I could attend. Missing Taylor Swift on tour is not an option. I am sickly now and may be drugged up on cough syrup and cold medicine, but no rain, nor storm, no illness, nor apocalyse will keep me from that concert. I love her, and I will be there to show my support, and I could not be happier. That is all.
*I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22!
Everything will be alright if you keep me next to you!*
